Brooklyn Loughlin Memorial High School was ahead of the curve when it came to having a virtual tour and had one created long before Covid. But fast forward to 2024 and while their tour was still useful, it needed a refresh. Campus improvements over the years meant that many of the 360 images needed to be updated. They also had a new logo and branding elements that weren’t reflected in the old tour.
Another challenge they wanted to address in the new tour was showing how convenient their campus is to multiple subway stops and to many cultural landmarks they visit with their student body.
Additionally, their photo galleries and video content was outdated and they had some new really great content to feature like drone video footage showing the school exterior and a welcome video with a student tour guide.
Circlescapes creates tours that are designed to be scalable and expandable over time, so instead of an entire redo, we were able to utilizing some of the existing components, but add to the tour to create a fresh user experience.
Check out some of the improvements.
We added a splash screen to feature their drone video which immediately draws in the virtual visitor.
We captured new 360° panoramas including a subway stop, the green roof and the updated classrooms.
We designed two digital maps that the user can toggle between to see the greater neighborhood with its landmarks and train stops and a close up view of the campus to navigate to points of interest.
We updated the photo galleries and added a video tour with a student tour guide.
We added a call to action link so users could get more information from Admissions.
And finally, we gave the whole tour a fresh new look tightly reflecting their updated brand and Finalsite website. Click image to explore the tour.
